Meet them all the same..

the praise, the setbacks, the joy, the rejections, all heartaches, all the exhilaration.

Folks at the Paul Muldoon workshop wrote to me saying my poetry earned an honorable mention from the judges, and that’s deeply satisfying. At the same time, today was a PhD milestone which kept me very stressed and immersed in academic readings all this while. Life is both a test and a reward. The only learning is, keep writing, keep doing.

Learnings from Hindu holy text Gita exhort us to keep doing our bit, and leave the worries about the result to God. I guess I have been doing this for quite a while now. It’s the most potent stress management strategy. Forget pills.
