Pallavi Singh

I am a writer, journalist, and business history scholar. I am also a start-up mentor and Core Leadership of London-based online wholesale marketplace Bomway backed by LSE Generate and founders of ShopUp. I write opinion and longreads for leading publications in India and the UK, covering a range of themes in political economy and business. I put people in stories.

I am part of Queen’s University Centre for Economic History where my research in Business History looks at long-run trends in capitalism and globalisation in the 21st century. I studied MSc in Economic History at the LSE and led digital for News Corp companies in India. Prior to this, I was a longform and enterprise journalist for Mint, The Indian Express and Hindustan Times, and reported on a range of themes in political economy, business, policy and politics, and culture.

On weekends, I write. My poetry has been supported with artist grants from Centre for Creative Practices in Dublin, and the Arts Council of Ireland.
