Dr Pallavi Padma-Uday is a scholar of capitalism and its institutions. Her work spans explorations in economic and financial history, political economy, and business and management. Her research examines how social structures shape firms, finance, and market institutions in South Asia. She is particularly interested in long-run institutional change and the historical and contemporary dynamics of capitalism.
