This morning, I woke up to an email from Community Arts Partnership’s literary team saying my poem (title to be revealed) has been selected for inclusion in their prestigious annual Poetry in Motion Anthology for 2021/2022, called ‘Threshold’.
I am pleasantly surprised. The poems selected for the anthology are also considered for the Seamus Heaney Award for New Writing, which is awarded by CAP with official support from the Estate of Seamus Heaney, which the family of the Nobel Laureate runs to preserve his memories and his legacy. The longlist will be released next week, and the anthology will be launched next month.
